We are advise clients in obtaining licenses issued by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms & Explosive (“ATF”), U.S. State Department, and U.S. Department of Commerce.  We advise clients on short-term and long-term licensing-related strategy, including for emerging growth companies whose operations may look very different within 12-24 of initial licensing. We also advise clients on licensing issues related to mergers, acquisitions and re-organizations.

Representative Matters:
· Represented global Canadian-based private security services company in resolving high-risk licensing issues with Georgia regulator.
· Advised a domestic subsidiary of a UAE firearms manufacturer/distributor on ATF and export-related (ITAR) matters.
· Advised ultra-high net worth family in business structure, setup and ATF licensing related to exclusive import and distribution of bespoke shotguns from United Kingdom.
· Advised hundreds of clients related to strategy, setup, and obtaining ATF-issued federal firearms licenses (dealers, pawnbrokers, manufacturers, and importers) (100% success rate). · Advised Serbian firearms manufacturer on formation/setup of domestic ATF-licensed business, including 922(r) import-related compliance.
· Advised Argentinian firearms manufacturer on formation/setup of domestic ATF-licensed business, including short-term joint venture with existing domestic partner and termination of long-term distribution agreement.  
· Advised Turkish firearms manufacturer on formation/setup of domestic ATF-licensed business.
· Advised manufacturer of military-spec barrels on compliance, product testing/evaluation, and procurement.
· Advised engineering and consulting firm that assists with development of military and consumer defense products/technology on licensing and ATF compliance.
· Work with engineering and consulting firm that assists with development of military and consumer defense products/technology to provide regulatory support to its clients related to product classifications and ATF compliance.
